So let's be real, when you're dealing with endo there isn't really any "nletflix and chill"
Painful sex is one of the major sign/symptoms of endometriosis. From what I have experienced and from what I gathered from other endosisters it just gets worse after you have your first surgery.
Now having surgery is the only true was to diagnose endo, so if you have a Dr saying you don't have endo by looking at ultrasounds, FIND A NEW DR! Endo cannot be seen on imaging!!!
Ok so back from that tangent... Before you are diagnosed you may have discomfort during or after sex, especially if you climax. Which is when you should definitely talk to your doctor or gyni if you have one.
But after your surgery it gets way worse. The whole experience hurts, which in turn emotionally hurts your partner. From my experience my partner is so scared to hurt me we just don't make the effort to be together that way.
Now I don't blame him for being so scared, I have ended up in the hospital in the past because of the aftermath pain. And when its not hospital worthy i'm in bed the rest of the day high on pain meds to keep me from crying.
I'm not trying to scare anyone on here who may have endo and are reading this, i'm just trying to be honest and give you my personal experiences going through this disease.
If you're living with endo and have a different experience please comment below about what you ar e going through in this department.
Today's pain level is a 6 :) yippy
