Sorry for the T Swift title but I just couldn't help myself.. I'm a swifty through and through..
So anyways, its been about what? 7 months since you've heard from me.. and when you did it was this huge update about the huge changes in my life and I stopped posting because I needed to take some time to work on myself.
My 7 year relationship ended, I had to leave the place I considered my home and move back in with my parents, I was let go from my job, I lost one of my best friends to this terrible disease and my health; both physical and mental just seemed to be deteriorating.
My health update will come later this week.. and my post I've been working on about my friend.
For now I want to just introduce you to the new man in my life. His name is Keith and he's amazing. When we first started talking we both agreed to take things slow and see where it went. We had our first date set for a week later and we ended up moving it up 5 days because just through texting we had such a great connection we wanted to meet as soon as possible.
Now the tricky thing about dating someone new when you are chronically ill is how much to tell them and when. I ended up being lucky, Keith already knew what endometriosis was as his sister is in the process of getting her official diagnoses.
Now the way to tell if you have a good guy is if he puts in the effort to learn about your conditions. Keith did more research into endo and he watched the Lady Gaga documentary on Netflix to better understand fibromyalgia pain. And after doing his research he came to me with questions so he could have a more personal understanding of my journey.
Our relationship moved pretty quickly, but we felt instantly comfortable with each other, I was more comfortable with him than i'd ever been with anyone in my entire life. I felt safe enough to be completely open about my health and was able to let him see the worsts sides of me with no fear. |t just feels right.
And now we have moved into our first apartment together with our baby kitten Autumn (seriously check out how cute she is on my IG)
'till next time..
today is sadly an 8
